STRATEGIES/TIPS:
I always start off with my 4 Swordmasters(custom-named with
custom-named
Snaps, hehe) in the front and Gabriel(Angel Knight, also custom-named) in
the middle of them with the three spellcasters behind them. The first Day I
usually just move forward to the enemy some, but not attacking, getting in a
good position since all my party members can either fly or warp. The
second
Day I use Fluid Magic on the three spellcasters. After that, I just attack.
My 3 Swordmasters, not including David/Alphonse, will go off and attack weak
spellcasters they can take down in one hit if there are any.
Alphonse/David, Gabriel, and the spellcasters go take down everyone else one
by one. Usually, I have Elrik attack the person I am focusing on with
Fenrir, then Rictor attacks it with Ingis Fatuus if no one needs healing.
If Rictor needs to heal someone, then I have David/Alphonse Atropos it or
attack it normally, depending on its HP left. Then Gabriel usually
finishes
it off with Clotho or Lachesis. If it is not dead yet, Lechies either
casts
Fiend's Grip on it or casts Time Flux on Alphonse/David so he can finish it
off. Later, when the 3 other Swordmasters return, I usually have a group
of
Gabriel, Auron, Stone, and Rictor attack one person while Alphonse/David,
Eagle, Lechies, and Elrik attack another. I do that until they are
defeated. All this time Rictor is healing people if they need it, and
Auron
and Elrik are using Purify and Revive Stones if someone had a status change.
DESPERATION TECHNIQUE:
If the time calls for a desperate measure, this is what
I do. First, I have
Elrik and Rictor cast Fenrir and Ingis Fatuus on the leader and just the
leader. If they do not have enough HP, I have Stone and/or Golem use Fluid
Magic on them. After the have attacked, I have Gabriel use either Lachesis
on the enemy leader while not standing next to the enemy leader. Then, I
have David/Alphonse Atropos it, and then all the available Swordmasters(if
none of them cast Fluid Magic)attack the leader from either the back or the
side. If the enemy leader is still alive, I have Lechies cast Time Flux on
David/Alphonse and he uses Atropos again, hopefully finishing off the enemy
leader.
TACTICS OGRE BOARD/INFO ABOUT MYSELF
The Tactics Ogre board is one of the best, if not the best, boards I visit.
It has members that have been there for more than a year now, new members
seemingly every week, and everywhere in between. There are boards for most
everything you could want to talk about, ranging from other video systems,
anime, a board dedicated solely to The Knight of Lodis, and boards about
general things and the board itself. It has a relaxed atmosphere, but it
is
not spam-filled or outrageously wild. The members here know their stuff
about video games. If you have a question about just any game, chances are
it can be answered here. And with the summer coming up and 500+ members, now
is definitely a good time to join up or come visit again!
Obviously you want to know about me, so here you are. I am 14 years old
and live in the north part of Mississippi. For a brief description, I am
named David, around 5'10 ft. tall, blondish-brown hair, hazel eyes (they are
more green in the day and brown at night), and weigh around 120 or so. I
like sports, mainly baseball and some basketball though. I am on my high
school's junior varsity(9th-10th grade team) baseball team and I am in the
8th grade. Besides baseball, I enjoy the Internet, video games, writing
sometimes, and movies. I don't know much about computers besides the basic
stuff, although I am learning some of the things. Heh, before I came to TO,
I knew basically nothing. I am also pretty new to the gaming world,
especially the RPG world, considering I have just started playing them a
good amount a year or so ago. I have not played any of the older games
like
Super Metroid, Final Fantasies before 9, Crono Trigger, Earthbound or Super
Mario RPG. I know its sad, but I will get to play them sometime. Some of
my
favorite games that I have played though are Advance Wars, TKOL, Super Smash
Brothers Melee, Wind Waker, Metroid Prime, Final Fantasy X, and Goldeneye.
My favorite video game characters so far are Eagle from Advance Wars, Samus
from the Metriod series, and of course, Auron from the Final Fantasy
games.

my AIM,
suprisingly enough, is bondsdw.
THOUGHTS OF TO:TKOL
I got this game a while back, about a month or so after it was
released. I
played two files(with the help of the information at this site of course),
but then I stopped playing for a while. Recently, I rediscovered this
wonderful game. TKOL has a good storyline, with many different endings for
you to earn, which I always like. There are two different paths for you to
choose, each with items that the other path does not have. The classes are
well-balanced, with some interesting special characters too. Plus, it has
around a 40 hour game each time you play it, so it will last a while. Even
after you beat it once, you will want to again to make unique teams and get
the different endings. This is the best RPG for the GBA by far right now,
and is pretty close to the best GBA game, only a little behind Advance Wars
for me. If you own a GBA there is no excuse not to have this game. I only
wish I had someone that I could play Multiplayer with!
