Contributed by Terence and DeadS Terence was kind enough to release this guide to the public but it also can be found in Bearsman6's walkthrough. The list is below but if you have never used a grid system before I strongly recommend reading what Terence has to say. Terence: "First, the name of the location (as shown on the map) is listed, along with the dimensions of the map. Dimensions count the total number of tiles the map takes up at its *widest* point. Then comes the list of co-ordinates. Each co-ordinate is in the order (x,y) in ascending x order. (0,0) is the co-ordinate of the BOTTOMMOST corner of the map; that is, the corner that is nearest the bottom side of your GBA screen. On some maps, (0,0) will be impossible to get to; if this is the case, then the co-ordinate for the bottommost deployment square will be given to the right of the dimensions of the map; you must then use that as an offset to find the correct tiles. Each co-ordinate (x,y) means that, starting from (0,0), you must push UP on the controlpad x times, followed by LEFT on the control pad y times. Keep in mind that this is if you are using Cursor Movement Type A; if you are using Cursor Movement Type B, then you will need to push RIGHT on the control pad x times, followed by UP on the control pad y times. Also, keep in mind that some maps will have tiles you cannot cross with the cursor, and that these maps may make it difficult to follow these instructions. Under these circumstances, you may have to differ your counting method, or count based on offsets (for example, (8,5) to (9,7) could be done by starting on (8,5) and then moving 1 up/right and 2 left/up (again, depending on control method)). Each co-ordinate can give you a certain treasure. Most of the time, you will find one of the three groups of Random Treasure; these groups give you different items depending on your biorhythm and the actual group. Group 1 is mainly low-level weapons with a few healing items. Group 2 is mainly items that can raise your stats permenantly, but you will still find a few healing items and rarely one or two weapons. Group 3 is the rarest and has the most expensive and interesting items; you will find stuff that can change elements and alignments here, as well as Seraph's Plumes (increases movement), Orbs and so on. Certain locations, instead of divulging a random treasure, will give you a specific item. These items are shown in the list in all caps. They are usually more powerful than most of the stuff you can buy or find at that level, so if nothing else, these are the items you should aim for. To the right of the item property, the actual terrain of the correct tile is shown. This is to aid you in identifying the correct tile. A sample terrain might be (4s Ground). This means that the tile is listed as being '4 step' which is 4 height transitions off the ground, and that it is listed as a Ground tile type. You can see the '? step' in the top right corner when terrain properties are shown, and the tile name can be seen if you push Select when you have the tile selected. Certain tiles must be BURNED in order to find buried treasure under them. If a tile must be BURNED, you will see the word BURN to the right of the terrain type in this list. To do this, you must use a fire spell (Fireball or Firestorm are best for these) to remove the grass or snow from the tile. Note that the snow tiles in Charadrius (a very late Chapter 3 map) cannot be burned, and you can find the treasures without having to remove the snow. Also note that certain Chapter 1/2 maps will become snowed under in Chapter 3, and any treasure there that you would've had to burn to find must now be burned twice; once to remove the snow, and again to remove the grass. With all that said, on to the list."
